Alexis Guinard joins CAPZA Transition as Partner
Alexis Guinard joins a dedicated team of 6 professionals led by Emmanuel Bonnaud, Managing Partner of CAPZA Transition SAS.
Alexis brings extensive experience in the private equity industry, having worked for ten years as an investment director in the Mid Cap division of Bpifrance and four years as an associate at CDC Entreprises before joining CAPZA. This background has allowed him to develop deep expertise in the small and medium-sized capitalisation sector. He will leverage his experience from approximately fifteen transactions to support SMEs and mid-sized companies in France and abroad across various sectors, including industry, IT services, healthcare, and telecommunications.
The CAPZA Transition Fund supports small-cap companies from diverse sectors in achieving their growth and performance objectives, including sell-offs, minority investments, ownership reorganisation, business transfer, financing acquisitions or strategic developments.
Its flexible model enables the Fund to offer tailor-made solutions to companies, actively engaging in their growth or transformation strategy in a partnership approach.
The CAPZA Transition Fund has already invested in 13 companies, including three since the start of the year: Stanwell (strategic consulting firm), Arlettie (creator of luxury brand event sales), and Avignon Ceramic (specialist in ceramic core manufacturing).
Biography
Alexis has several years of experience in the private equity industry, having worked as an investment director in Bpifrance’s Mid Cap division for ten years and as an associate at CDC Entreprises for four years before joining CAPZA in June 2023. He has extensive knowledge of the Small & Mid Cap sector and has been involved in more than fifteen transactions. Alexis began his career at EY in the Transaction Services team, where he spent three years. Throughout his career, Alexis has gained solid experience in growth strategies, financial control, and external growth development while working with SMEs and mid-sized companies in France and abroad.
Alexis oversaw investments and development of companies across various sectors, including industry, IT services, health and cosmetics, B2B services, and telecommunications.
Alexis holds a master’s degree in management, specialising in Corporate Finance, from EM Lyon Business School and a DEUG in economics from the University of Aix-en-Provence.
