Edouard de Beaufort joins CAPZA Flex Equity
Edouard de Beaufort joins CAPZA as Partner, bringing over 13 years of investment experience and 4 years of experience.
He joins the CAPZA Flex Equity team led by Maxence Radix and Benoit Choppin, comprising 7 senior investment professionals who leverage CAPZA’s multi-local presence (17 investment professionals across France, Spain, Italy, Germany and Benelux).
Prior to joining CAPZA, Edouard was Managing Director at Caravelle, a family-owned investment holding focused on the mid-market. Throughout his career, Edouard has developed particular expertise in the healthcare, B2B services and tourism sectors.
This appointment strengthens CAPZA’s Flex Equity team and brings additional expertise in key sectors for the company’s investment strategy.
CAPZA’s Flex Equity strategy aims to offer investors an attractive risk-return profile, particularly in current market conditions. The Fund also benefits from an integrated ESG approach and a dedicated team to support portfolio companies’ transformation on these issues.
Since its inception in 2004, the team has completed over 90 investments and more than 65 exits, including: Audensiel (digital transformation), Eurofeu (fire safety), ITAL Express (truck spare parts), and Dubbing Brothers (film dubbing).
Biography
Before joining CAPZA in 2024, Edouard de Beaufort was Managing Director at Caravelle, a family-owned investment holding focused on the mid-market. He plays a key role in managing and growing the company’s investment portfolio, with particular expertise in the healthcare, B2B services and tourism sectors.
Prior to Caravelle, Edouard worked for 5 years at Apax Partners and 2 years at Bain & Company. Edouard began his career at Lehman Brothers and then CVC Credit in London.
Edouard holds a degree from EM Lyon Business School and an MBA from INSEAD.
