CAPZA supports the development of DI Environnement

CAPZA to acquire strategic minority stake in DI Environnement, a leading player in environmental decontamination services.

CAPZA announces that it has entered into an agreement to acquire a minority stake in DI Environnement, the French leader in environmental depollution services, led by Hugo and Claude Rosati.

Founded in 1987 in Montélimar, DI Environnement has firmly established itself as the French leader in the removal and treatment of pollutants, with four core activities: asbestos removal, equipment dismantling and recycling, soil remediation and surface treatment.

The Group distinguishes itself by a robust network of twenty decentralised agencies, in-house engineering capabilities, and certified staff operating under stringent safety standards. It also operates seven logistics workshops, including two state-of-the-art, fully automated dismantling plants dedicated to railway rolling stock. Since Hugo Rosati became CEO in 2017, DI Environnement has more than doubled its revenues, successfully launched three new business lines and expanded its national footprint.

We are looking forward to supporting the management team in its next phase of growth, focusing on both organic and external growth opportunities in France and Europe.

DI Environnement serves a diverse client base, including public sector entities, demolition firms, and major industrial groups. The company benefits from a balanced business model, combining high-margin, small-scale projects with recurring long-term contracts—some extending up to 10 years—with clients such as major transport companies.

CAPZA is well positioned to support DI Environnement’s continued organic growth and will place particular emphasis on new M&A opportunities and on diversification into adjacent verticals. The partnership between CAPZA and DI Environnement will support the Group’s ambition to continue as a leading player in the fragmented and growing depollution market.

Hugo Rosati, CEO of DI Environnement commented: “We are pleased to welcome the CAPZA team on board as we embark on the next chapter of our growth journey. CAPZA’s deep expertise and proven track record will be instrumental in accelerating our expansion and driving market consolidation. Together, we are confident in our ability to deliver sustainable growth and reinforce our position as the leading French player in depollution services.”

Edouard de Beaufort, Partner, CAPZA Flex Equity said: : “We are thrilled to partner with Hugo and Claude Rosati as well as the rest of the management team at DI Environnement. The Rosati family has established DI Environnement as a best-in-class industry leader underpinned by a resilient and vertically integrated industrial model. We are looking forward to supporting the management team in its next phase of growth, focusing on both organic and external growth opportunities in France and Europe.”

Completion of the transaction remains subject to standard closing conditions and regulatory approvals.
