Artemid supports IK Partners with the financing of DRIESCHER
This transaction is the first done in Germany by Artemid, highlighting its development ambitions across Europe.
Established over 85 years ago, DRIESCHER is a leading provider of critical grid components and a reliable partner to many large municipal utilities, industrial customers and railway operators. The Group offers a comprehensive range of solutions necessary for the expansion of energy grids and the modernization of existing infrastructure.
DRIESCHER employs approximately 500 people and operates four production sites across Europe, serving key markets in Germany, the Czech Republic, Austria, and Switzerland. With 18 global offices and roughly 300 patents, DRIESCHER has established a strong reputation for itself as a high-quality, innovative player in the market.
As part of this transaction, Artemid co-arranged senior debt financing alongside a consortium of banks, enabling IK to become the majority shareholder of DRIESCHER.
This transaction demonstrates Artemid’s ambition to support transactions across Europe, with a particular focus on the DACH market, which remains central to its investment strategy.
The funds of the Artemid range are managed by the asset management company CAPZA and advised by Artemid SAS, which is a subsidiary of CAPZA and has financial investment advisor status (CIF in France). Artemid SAS is registered by the Orias under the number 14003497 since the 05/28/2014.
