Alexander began his career in 2011 as an Analyst in the Acquisition & Leveraged Finance group at RBC Capital Markets in London. He subsequently joined Allianz Global Investors, where he held successive roles of increasing responsibility, initially as Associate and later as Assistant Vice President, within the Infrastructure Debt team based in London, with an overseas assignment in New York City in 2015.
 
In 2017, he was promoted to Vice President within Allianz Global Investors’ European Private Credit department and transferred to Germany, where he advanced to the role of Director in 2023, with responsibility for the DACH, Benelux and Nordics regions. He played a key role in the establishment of Allianz Global Investors’ first Luxembourg-based direct lending platform and the roll-out of Allianz Global Investors’ senior direct lending strategy across Europe.
 
Alexander holds a MSc Finance degree from Cass Business School in London and a BSc Business Administration from Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität in Munich.
