CAPZA supports Tevah in its merger with Onyx Vision
Tevah Systèmes Group announces the acquisition of Onyx Vision, strengthening its leading position in the distribution of video surveillance products in the French market. This marks Tevah’s first external growth operation since CAPZA became a minority shareholder.
Founded in 2004 by Philippe Berda and led since 2021 by his son David Berda, Tevah Systèmes is an importer and distributor of electronic security systems (video surveillance, access control, alarm, intercom, and network) for professional installers and integrators (artisans, SMEs, and large accounts).
The company has experienced strong growth (+30% per year for 10 years) and achieved a turnover of over 43 million euros in 2023. Present in the Ile-de-France region with 6 agencies across France, Tevah recently relocated to Gennevilliers to triple its storage capacity, matching its ambitious growth plans. Tevah is now acquiring Onyx Vision, a specialist in electronic security systems distribution, particularly video surveillance. Founded in 2016 and led by Lauriane Baresse, Onyx Vision employs a dozen staff in Vigny and generated nearly 7 million euros in turnover in 2023.
The merger of these two companies, complementary in product offerings and clientele, aligns perfectly with the Group’s strategy to strengthen its expertise and market share in the video surveillance sector. Other external growth opportunities are currently under consideration.
“We are proud to support David and his teams in this new, structuring stage of Tevah’s development through this first external growth operation. The company is now positioned to welcome Onyx’s teams and pursue future opportunities. The merger with Onyx Vision strengthens Tevah’s position among the leaders in specialized distribution of electronic security products,” emphasizes Alexis Guinard, Partner de CAPZA Transition SAS
“This merger between our complementary teams will create value-add synergies, allowing us to further improve our service quality for our diverse client base. I am proud to welcome Lauriane Baresse and her team to our development project, which will continue building one of the national leaders in electronic security products distribution,” adds David Berda, CEO of Tevah Systèmes.
