Benoit is Managing Partner and Co-Head of Flex Equity at CAPZA.
Prior to joining CAPZA in 2006 as a senior associate, Benoit gained initial experience in the Corporate Banking department of Crédit Lyonnais in London and EPF Partners (APAX small caps). He became Principal in 2008, Director in 2010, Partner in 2014 and Managing Partner in 2021. Benoit was instrumental in building the Flex Equity Franchise and is also actively involved in the fundraising process of the Flex Equity strategy.
Benoit graduated from ESSCA (2003). -
Edouard de BeaufortParisPartnerFlex Equity
Before joining CAPZA in 2024, Edouard de Beaufort was Managing Director at Caravelle, a family-owned investment holding focused on the mid-market. He plays a key role in managing and growing the company’s investment portfolio, with particular expertise in the healthcare, B2B services and tourism sectors.
Prior to Caravelle, Edouard worked for 5 years at Apax Partners and 2 years at Bain & Company. Edouard began his career at Lehman Brothers and then CVC Credit in London.
Edouard holds a degree from EM Lyon Business School and an MBA from INSEAD. -
Clara DouilhetParisAnalyst
Prior to joining CAPZA, Clara worked at Azulis Capital as a Private Equity Analyst Intern. Before that, she worked at Bredin Prat as an Intern in the M&A Litigation Department and Gide Loyrette Nouel as an Intern in the M&A Department.
Clara holds a Master in Management from HEC Paris and a Master in Business Law & Taxation from Université Panthéon Sorbonne.

Prior to joining CAPZA in 2023, Edoardo worked for 3 years at CDP Equity in Milan, as an Investment Manager of several Private Equity investment projects. Prior to that, he worked for almost 4 years at Roland Berger as a Strategy Consultant in the Private Equity and Strategy Practices in Milan. Edoardo started his career at PwC in Milan as a Corporate Finance Analyst.
Edoardo holds an MSc in Business Administration and Law – Major in Corporate Finance from Bocconi University and a BSc in Business Administration – Major in Accounting from Cattolica del Sacro Cuore University. -

Prior to joining CAPZA in 2022, Gino worked as an associate for ING’s leveraged finance team. After some early experience at ING Bank and Vortex Capital in Amsterdam, Gino joined ING through the corporate finance graduate program.
Gino has studied at Tilburg University, Bocconi and Maastricht University, from which he graduated with a Master’s degree.

Prior to founding CAPZA in 2004, Christophe was Managing Director at ABN AMRO CAPITAL France since 1998. He previously took part in the creation of the EPF Partners fund in 1995. Christophe started his career at 3i France, which he joined in 1987, becoming an Associate Director and then Management Committee member in 1992.
Christophe graduated from Sciences Po Paris in 1984 and holds an MBA from J.L. Kellogg Graduate School of Management, Northwestern University, Chicago. -

Before that, he spent 13 years at BBVA and he developed his career in the area of Investment Banking and Investor Relations, Mergers and Acquisitions and Private Equity.José Tomás holds a degree in Economics from the UCM and an MBA from IESE.

Maxence is CEO of Capza and Head of Private Equity LBO at AXA IM Alts, where he is also a member of the Management Board.
Prior to joining CAPZA in 2005, Maxence gained initial experience in the Finance Department of Cascade Direct Inc, in Portland (USA). He was quickly promoted to the rank of Principal in 2013, Director in 2014, Partner in 2016, Managing Partner in 2021 and CEO in 2024.
Maxence was instrumental in building the Flex Equity Franchise and is also actively involved in the fundraising process of the Flex Equity strategy.
Maxence holds an International Bachelor of Business Administration with a major in Market Finance from ESPEME Business School (EDHEC Group, Lille France). -

Victoire SimonParisDirector
Prior to joining CAPZA in 2020, Victoire was Investment Director at Weinberg Capital Partners.
Prior to that, she was an Investment Director at RAISE, a fund specialized in small and mid-cap companies that she joined at its creation in 2013.
She also has experience at 21 Invest and in Transaction Services at KPMG.
Victoire holds a Master’s degree in financial engineering from EM LYON Business School and graduated from Dauphine. -
Stefano ZavattaroMilanPartner, Head of Italy
Prior to joining CAPZA in 2021, Stefano advised international investment houses on their Italian and European projects.
Previously, he was chosen by the French investor Siparex to launch their Italian private equity activities, before becoming Head of the Private Equity division of the Crédit Agricole Group.
He began his career as a manager for General Electric, where he participated in numerous M&A and private equity transactions within the GE Capital division.
Stefano graduated in Economics in Rome and specialized in Finance at the London Business School.
